Day Hikes
Pine Ridge Loop
A classic Pacific Northwest forest loop with panoramic ridge views and old-growth cedar groves. The trail climbs steadily for the first hour, then levels off along the ridge before descending through fern-lined switchbacks.
River Canyon Trail
Follow the canyon rim above the Cascade River with two waterfall stops and a lunch break at a riverside overlook. This trail passes through three distinct ecosystems in a single day.
Full-Day Adventures
Summit Challenge
A demanding ascent to the high ridge — 2,800 feet of elevation gain over nine miles. The payoff is one of the most dramatic views in the Cascades. Participants should be in good physical condition and comfortable with sustained uphill hiking.
Wildflower Traverse
An early-season traverse across a high meadow basin known for its late-June wildflower bloom. The route includes a ridge crossing with views into two river valleys.
Overnight Trips
Alpine Lake Basecamp
Pack in to a high-alpine lake at 5,400 feet and set up camp on the shore. Your guide handles route-finding and camp setup while you take in the reflections, spot wildlife at dusk, and wake up above the clouds. All camping gear is provided.
Ridgeline Traverse
A point-to-point overnight that crosses three named ridges and drops into a remote old-growth valley. Night one is spent at a backcountry shelter with a fire ring and stream access. Shuttle from the trailhead is included.
